Maris Marleen is co-founder and Senior Product Designer at Fluid, working on the player-facing UI of the cashier and the operator-facing configuration surface that lets brands tune it.
She has eight-plus years in product design, with the most relevant chunk spent at MegaRush — a Malta-licensed casino operator. Designing inside an operator means designing under the constraints that matter: regulator-required disclosures, KYC-state-aware flows, payment-method icons that have to work at any size, and an audience that is on a phone, on the move, and impatient. That background is the reason Fluid's UI doesn't read like a generic SaaS dashboard glued to a casino.
Maris is responsible for the parts of Fluid that the operator's player actually touches. She is the team's strongest internal advocate for usability research over opinion, and for the unglamorous detail work — micro-copy, error states, retry flows — that compounds into the conversion numbers operators care about.
She writes about product design for regulated payments, the UX of the deposit funnel, designing inside operator brand systems, and what usability research actually looks like in iGaming.
